Two offerings: Smart MicroVision NX, the current microscope adaptor, and Path-Snap, an Android app for structured cases. They are sold separately.
Smart MicroVision NX
A hands-free mount that holds a smartphone or 9 to 11-inch tablet so the main camera aligns with one eyepiece of a standard binocular microscope. Hands stay free for focus, stage, and objectives.
A scale on the platform records the distance from the device’s lower edge to the centre of the 1× camera, so the same position can be set again. Use the main camera. Fitting instructions: How to use.
The adaptor does not include a microscope or a phone. Image quality follows the slide, optics, illumination, and alignment. Warranty: 365 days from purchase if registered within 30 days, for defects in parts or workmanship under normal use. Misuse, corrosion, and freezing are excluded. First-year repairs are at the Mumbai office; the customer pays shipping. Installation and training may be charged separately.
Path-Snap
Android application by Dr. Anan Jaiswal, with clinical input from Dr. Sanjeev Patwardhan. A case carries an identifier, specimen type, and images or video on an approved channel. It is not included with NX. Pilot scope and exclusions: Path-Snap.
