Path-Snap
Path-Snap is an Android app for sending a microscopy case as one packet: identifier, specimen type, and images or video. Developer: Dr. Anan Jaiswal. Clinical input: Dr. Sanjeev Patwardhan.
NX is the adaptor. Path-Snap is software. Neither purchase includes the other. The reporting pathologist remains responsible for interpretation.

A case
- Laboratory case identifier
- Specimen type from the pilot list
- Photographs or a short video
- Age, sex, and site only if needed; no names, faces, MRD, or LIS screens
Focus through the eyepieces first, then photograph with NX. How to use.
Pilot (August 2026, TPA)
- Urine microscopy
- Peripheral blood smears
- Semen analysis
- Body fluids
- Microbiology smears
- Blood-group quality control and training
- Rapid-test quality control
Not in this pilot
- Histopathology
- Cytopathology
- Frozen sections
- Transfusion medicine (except blood-group QC and training above)
Significant morphology, including suspected malignancy, requires the physical slide. Path-Snap does not issue a diagnosis. This site does not claim encryption; that belongs in the SOP issued to pilot users.
